How to erase address bar history in Internet Explorer

To erase address bar history in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.

Delete address bar history in Firefox 4.0:
To delete all items in the Address bar history, click the down error at the top of the Firefox window to open the Tools menu, then select History -> Clear Recent History.
In the Clear Recent History window, set Time range to clear to Everything.
Under Details, click on the arrow button and select Browsing & Download History and press Clear Now.
